Welcome to the KANS PROJECT 2009 St. Dominic High Website. This site is meant to be a portal into the theme of this year’s project: “The Arts and Sport on St. Maarten: A Timeline”. The KANS project involves a cultural exchange between the RSG school in Holland, and the St.Dominic High in St. Maarten. In particular, the Form 2 students of the St. Dominic High will use this website to convey as much information as possible pertaining to the culture of St. Maarten. The focus will be on sports and the performing and visual arts, with emphasis on the change over time and the rise of new popular genres. The students will do so by uploading articles/artwork/videos and audio that represents their own investigation into the subject matter. We sincerely hope you enjoy this site and that it will be something that will have a permanent spot in cyber-space.
